About the AuthorAuthorPhoto_2.5x3

Nancy is a Virginian who thrives on living in the warm, spiritual environment of Virginia Beach. Although educated in the area of Early Childhood Education in New Haven, Connecticut, she has always had the urge to write. Nancy is a teacher at heart, so this combination inspired the eclectic mix of spirited and spiritual poetry for her first book, A String of Pearls: Restoring the Soul through Poetry. All of these writings come to her through channeling or automatic writing, making her a natural teacher. She is also attending the Institute of Children’s Literature to hone her skills as a children’s writer and find her niche in this area. In addition to being a writer, Nancy is certified as a Reiki Master and Chakra Therapist in Virginia Beach.

Nancy lives with her husband and soul mate, Jeff, and their two lively dachshunds, Nonnie and Angel. She has a married daughter, two inherited daughters, and six grandchildren, all of whom visit every now and again. This makes for never a dull moment in their household. Nancy also loves walking in nature, handicrafts, reading, gardening, and exploring bookstores and coffee shops.

The rays of the sun shine through an hourglass of time

bringing new hope to all who wish

to make it so.

….Close your eyes and deep breathe to the wonders beyond…

opening to the grand array of color

that will bring you the deepest

light, joy, and peace

you have ever known.

Revel in it!

Then bring it back with you into the present time.
